Hello! My name is Katherine.

 

It's so nice to meet you!  

 

I live with my husband Mark in Northeast Florida with our dog Time ( a retired racing greyhound) and our cat Rockford, who loves to make biscuits and cuddle up on my shoulder. Mark and I have been married since 2007, although we have no children. (Long, complicated story, but evidently, although I love children, having kids was not God's plan for us.) 

 

However, after caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children for over 25 years (including those with disabilities), and later with senior adults, I have developed a genuine passion for organizing cluttered spaces.  Over the years, I found myself spending hours during my lunch breaks decluttering friend's kitchens, pantries, laundry rooms, kid's rooms, storage closets to entire storage rooms in childcare centers, as well as in my own home.

I truly love the feeling that comes from transforming a cluttered space into an area that is beautiful, safe and incredibly satisfying.

We live in such a crazy and complicated world.  When our lives are overwhelmed with events in the news, dysfunctional families, devastating grief, medical issues, and so forth, that stress can often manifest itself in our homes and surroundings. We lose interest in taking care of ourselves as well as our families and homes.

 

Some of us may seek to fulfill the void in our lives by accumulating excessive amounts of stuff that may satisfy us temporarily, but ultimately can cause our lives to get out of control if not addressed. I've been in this situation as well, when life has been really hard, so I understand what this is like.

 

Believe me, I get it!

Other situations that can lead to excessive clutter may include dementia, ADHD, dyscalculia, or other neurodivergent conditions.  Some situations are simply busy adults who just don't have time to keep up with the state of their home. 

​

Whatever your situation is, I would love to help you regain control over your home so you can enjoy a peaceful environment again. It may seem overwhelming, but I am here to help you achieve your decluttering goals.  I will not judge you but will seek to minister to your needs with compassion, kindness and respect. I will seek to do everything professionally with appropriate forms for you to sign if you decide to meet. I will also make sure the pricing is fair. (Hey, I have bills to pay, too!) I will do my best to help you transform your home into the safe haven that you deserve.

Most importantly, always remember that there is nothing in our lives that can truly satisfy our souls than to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our value as human beings doesn't depend on how much money we make or how much stuff we accumulate in our lives. All of that will eventually fade away. But the love that Jesus has for you is eternal.  He will never leave you nor forsake you.  He will not give up on you. He loved you so much, He sacrificed His life on the cross for us. Put your trust in Him and let the rest go. ​
